Passport for your Pinay girlfriend

Maayong Buntag (Good Morning)

I wanted to confirm some costs and facts with you regarding traveling with your Filipino partner.

Let's say you want to go to Palawan, Philippines and then further north to the cute fun city of El Nido. You can do this easily with your Filipino partner but if you go single then finding a El Niño girlfriend can be difficult. Even trying to get a quick temporary partner in El Niño can prove to be fruitless. I tried a few dating apps there and there aren't so many girls to choose from. It's a romantic town so you should bring a girlfriend.

Here's another example: It's much smarter and more convienient to bring a girlfriend or friend that you meet in Cebu and then travel with her. Pinay women love adventure, fun and their country. They are romantic and sexy fun girls. Boracay is another example of a beautiful city. In the Philippines there is not a group of girls standing around and waiting for you to meet them. You must be wise because a lot of girls have children and are married already. You can meet girls but most of the time they are cute but really not your type. It can be beneficial if working thru the network of friends I have or perhaps women you sometimes randomly meet.

In contrast, there are lots of foreigners in Borocay Island, Dumaguete City and Pangloa who use dating apps to get quick dates.

Now if you want to take your girlfriend to locations outside of the Philippines then you'll need to her a Philippines passport. Here are the requirements:

She needs two IDs. My girlfriend had her National ID card and we paid about $5 US (200p+ in Pesos) for her NBI (National Bureau of Investigation). She had no historical or pending legal issues so her NBI was issued right away. It took about 30 minutes. They NBI and other governmental services are currently in the Cebu Robinson Galleria. This is also where a foreigner gets a passport extension beyond its 59-day normal allowed visitation maximum.

Secondly, my girlfriend made an appointment for her passport application interview and had to

on-line search several locations to try and find an available appointment. It takes time but she finally secured an appointment in a branch in one of the malls.

She had to pay 350p ($6 US) to pay for copies of her documents and then another 1200p ($20 US). This includes 950p for passport fee and a PRF fee of 250p. This is really an easy process if you're organized and your girlfriend has no legal criminal issues. It took less than 90 minutes and took her a month to get her passport which she picked up at the Cebu Pacific Mall passport forwarding location.

Philippino passports are empowering in a good way for Filipino's and allow them to travel with you. It can help with loyalty as well. There are limitations on where Filipino's can travel tho.

Please note: Many countries require that most passports have at least six (6) months of validity left on them to enter their country.

Visa's can be applied for and added to passports if required.
